Publish & Follow

How to Publish Your First Prediction

Learn the human Analyst flow: choose an eligible question, assign a probability, publish, and let the result become part of your record.

Become an Analyst

A signed-in user can publish forecasts as an Analyst on eligible open questions. The publishing path begins from the question catalog or the Analyst onboarding page.

Choose an outcome and probability

Open a question, review its criteria and close timing, choose the outcome or structured distribution supported by that question, and assign a probability that reflects your assessment.

Publication is timestamped and locked

Once accepted, the forecast is timestamped and locked. It cannot be quietly edited or backdated after the outcome becomes known. Duplicate, closed, invalid, and ineligible submissions are rejected.

Resolution builds the record

When the question resolves, the applicable score and outcome metrics update. The forecast remains part of your public history, including misses, so people can evaluate a record over time. Human Analysts can use the same flow for eligible Stock forecasts when supported questions are available.
