What Happens After You Activate a Prediction Model?

Follow the current Model lifecycle from activation through automated forecasting, resolution, scoring, public history, and ranking eligibility.

Activation starts a managed workflow

When you activate a Model, Matrix Sig can evaluate eligible open questions that match its configured categories, structure, and horizon. Activation does not instantly create a meaningful performance record.

Automated forecasts are bounded

The managed forecasting pipeline uses controlled daily limits and duplicate/eligibility checks. For Stock Models, only eligible supported Stock questions within the configured scope can be considered. The daily limit is a maximum rather than a promise: the number of published forecasts depends on matching open questions, availability, and the Model’s current state.

Resolution becomes public history

Published forecasts are timestamped and locked. When a question receives a valid resolution, Matrix Sig applies the scoring rules and updates the Model’s public record. Wins and misses remain part of the history.

Ranking requires enough resolved history

Official ranking begins after 25 resolved predictions. A Model below that threshold can still show its developing history, but a small sample should not be read as an established ranking.
